Dehydrated skin routine

Dehydrated lacks water. Dehydrated skin is not considered a skin type, but a skin condition. Some visible signs of dehydration are itching, dull-looking skin, uneven skin tone, more noticeable fine lines. Many factors trigger dehydration, such as sitting in air-conditioned offices for long periods or spending extended periods outdoors. As we transition from summer to fall or winter to spring, we tend to become dehydrated.

Dealing with this skin condition is relatively simple, with proper skincare to restore the skin's natural balance and the introduction of healthy habits.

It is good to look for natural humectants such as glycerin, natural betaine, hyaluronic acid, sodium lactate, and sodium PCA, which will draw moisture into the skin and keep it there. Natural oils and butters protect the skin from moisture loss. And most importantly, look for a facial cleanser that doesn't harm the protective skin barrier.

Morning routine

Cleanse: Moisten facial skin with lukewarm water and massage in 2 pumps of re.start cleansing oil to form a milky emulsion. Rinse the face with lukewarm water and finish by rinsing with cold water to refresh and circulate the skin

: Apply 1-2 drops of re.water serum while skin is still damp from the mist and massage into skin. Then apply a pea-sized amount of the re.vamp complete active moisturiser and massage into face, neck and décolleté - using upward strokes. Feel good in your skin all day long.

Evening routine

Let the evening ritual become your moment of rest, self-care and love.

: Spread 2-3 pumps of re.start cleansing oil on dry skin and take some time to massage. re.start cleansing oil dissolves makeup and impurities while nourishing the skin with nutrients from the synergy of organic oils. Moisten your hands and continue massaging until a milky liquid is formed. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Once you have removed all traces of the cleanser, we recommend rinsing the face with cold water to refresh the skin and stimulate microcirculation.

: Spray 3-4 spritzes of re.breezy mist on face and neck for a feeling of instant hydration and refreshment. Do not skip this step. re.breezy mist is rich in moisturisers and antioxidants.

: Mix 2 drops of re.water serum and 1-2 drops of re.glow oil serum in the palm of your hand and massage into skin using upward motions. Close your eyes and breathe in the serenity of the pure essential oils.

Beyond skin surface

Transepidermal water loss (TEWL) is the constant and subtle evaporation of water from the top layer of our epidermis. TEWL reflects the health of the skin barrier. Lipids in the upper layers of the skin are necessary to maintain the required amount of water in the skin. Especially linoleic acid plays a vital role in the synthesis of barrier lipids.

- Make sure you drink enough water.
- Make sure you eat a balanced diet that benefits your whole body and skin. Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids are beneficial for improving the lipid barrier.
- Humidify the air during the winter months.
- Avoid too much coffee and diuretics, which can promote dehydration.
- Be sure to maintain a balanced sleep rhythm
