Our first gua sha is carved from natural black obsidian — a volcanic glass formed by the earth — and engraved with the Matinata logo. Cool and smooth to the touch, its gentle curves follow the contours of the face, jaw and neck, turning your evening oil or serum into a slow, mindful massage.

How to use

• Apply a few drops of re.glow oil serum or your favourite Matinata oil to clean skin.
• Hold the stone almost flat against the skin and glide gently upwards and outwards, from the centre of the face towards the hairline.
• Repeat each stroke three to five times, always with light pressure.

Care

Rinse with lukewarm water and mild soap after each use, pat dry and store in its box. Obsidian is natural glass: handle with care and avoid dropping.
