What the judges are actually looking at

The Free From Skincare Awards focus on what is in a formula and what has been deliberately left out. Entries are assessed on ingredient quality, formulation integrity and how the product performs for testers over a period of real use — not on packaging or advertising spend. The Beauty Shortlist Awards work through an editorial and tester panel, where products are used in ordinary daily routines before any verdict is given.
