Cleansing and misting prepare the skin to receive everything that follows; most people notice a calmer, softer surface within the first week. From there, add re.hydrate and re.glow, then re.nourish to seal. Not sure which path? Always thinnest to richest: re.purify — cleanse re.balance — mist / prep re.hydrate — water serum re.glow — oil serum re.nourish — barrier cream to seal re.fresh is used separately for daily underarm freshness — it is not part of the facial layering order. Yes. Matinata is ECOGEA Organic and CosmEthically ACTIVE certified, vegan-friendly and made without parabens, silicones, petrochemical derivatives, phenoxyethanol, synthetic dyes, phthalates, mineral oils or aggressive surfactants. Formulas are made in small batches in Croatia and stewarded from Mainz.

The formulas are made without synthetic fragrance and with gentle, well-tolerated actives. If your skin is reactive, introduce one product at a time and patch test on the inner forearm first.

Unopened, each formula keeps for the period printed on the packaging. Once opened, use within the stated period after opening (PAO). Because Matinata is made in small batches without harsh preservatives, formulas are freshest when used steadily rather than stored for years. Miron violet glass helps protect light-sensitive botanicals.

Violet glass filters the visible light that can degrade delicate botanical actives while allowing beneficial light through. It helps keep active organic formulas potent for longer without synthetic stabilisers — and it is fully recyclable.

Never. Matinata is vegan-friendly and made to strict European cosmetic standards, which prohibit animal testing.

Natural botanical actives (including Kakadu plum and green tea) may gently deepen in colour. Miron glass helps protect light-sensitive ingredients; a soft colour shift does not mean the serum is spoiled when stored and used as directed.

Yes. EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods (German Widerrufsrecht). Returned products must be unused, unopened and in original packaging. For health and hygiene reasons, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed cosmetics once the seal has been removed after delivery (section 312g BGB), unless the product is defective or incorrect. Once we receive and inspect your return, we process the refund within 14 days to your original payment method. Your bank or payment provider usually needs a further 1-5 business days to show the money in your account. Original shipping costs are refunded only if the entire order is returned.
